We are amongst the most of the 'Champion Teams' in the Age group tournaments(Mini Sub-Junior & Junior Boys) organized by West Bengal Volleyball Association. There are always representatives from our club in the Sate Volleyball Team for Mini, Sub-Junior & Junior Boys. Avishek Das from BAC also became the 'Captain' of the State Team for Sub-Junior Boys.
Baksara Anushilan Chakra has a regular representation in the State Youth Team. Himangshu Dey from BAC has been honored with 'Captaincy' of the State Youth Team.
There are so many Calcutta University Blue in our club. Bunch of players from BAC are being selected for Calcutta University Volleyball Team every year. Avishek Banerjee(Rohan) from our club became the 'Captain' of the University Team.
For the last 53 years we are producing so many talented players who are dominating the Volleyball arena of West Bengal. There is also representative from BAC in the State Team(Sr. Men) for National Championship. this year (2012-2013) altogether 6 players from our club have been selected for State Team, which is an all time glorious achievement for Baksara Anushilan Chakra.
We also organize Year-round Volleyball Coaching Camp wherefrom the Volleyballers of the future are emerging out. Players for all over Howrah district are being nourished in our camp. This year West Bengal State Council for Sports has sanctioned us one year round Non-Residential Volleyball Coaching Camp. This has caused great enthusiasm among the local lads.
We organize Volleyball Tournaments regularly in our ground, where leading teams of West Bengal used to participate.
State dailies like Anandabazar Patrika, The Telegraph, Times of India etc highlighted several times our devotion to promote volleyball in this area since 1963.
We also organize Blood Donation Camp every year since 2010 to help Thalassemia affected children.
Our endeavour has got a social uspect also. Since inception we have tried to incline local young's to Volleyball i.e. sports in stead of wasting time in the afternoon. As many as twenty boys from Baksara Anushilan Chakra by dint of their good performance obtain employment Govt. Sector (RBI, SBI, BOB, Shipping Corporation, Indian Post, Indian Railways etc.) and Public Sector and Socially established in life.
